Fiserv's enterprise commerce orchestration platform (CommerceHub) served the world's largest acquirers and merchants but had grown organically — fragmented integrations, inconsistent BNPL and wallet behavior across regions, and a 7% annual merchant attrition rate that exec leadership treated as background noise.
Problem · what I reframed
I reframed that 7% attrition as the cost of platform fragmentation — merchants were leaving not because we lacked features, but because every new APM, BNPL provider, and wallet felt like a net-new integration instead of a coherent platform capability. That reframe unlocked exec buy-in for consolidation.
Approach · how we moved
Built a unified global APM platform from zero — covering 55+ methods (BNPL, digital wallets, A2A / bank redirects, card rails) across 70+ countries. Paired strategy with a hands-on reference SDK (220+ TypeScript files, 4 packages, per-provider idempotency & dispute flows, Klarna E2E sandbox validated).
  • Conceptualized 0-to-1 unified payment platform integrating BNPL + wallets globally
  • Led redesign of checkout & hosted payment experiences via iterative usability studies
  • Built AI-powered APM mapping engine auto-generating field-level specs between CommerceHub and 50+ providers
  • Authored enterprise stablecoin strategy — 5 prototypes de-risking the rail before platform commit
Outcome · what landed
CSAT lifted, OpEx came down, checkout adoption climbed, CNP volume doubled. More importantly, the internal narrative changed — APMs became a platform capability, not a series of one-off integrations.
0-to-1 Global APMs BNPL Digital Wallets Platform Strategy Stablecoin Rails
Context
Clover's SMB merchants — the small-business backbone Fiserv serves via ISOs, ISVs, and bank partners — had no coherent BNPL story. Competitors were winning SMB pipeline with BNPL-at-the-counter. We had to respond without fracturing the Clover experience.
Problem
Launching BNPL in a three-sided ecosystem (merchant, consumer, funding partner) requires all three to see the same experience — but ISO and ISV distribution partners each had different requirements, and risk/compliance wanted a different conservatism than the sales org.
Approach
Orchestrated the end-to-end launch of Bread Financial across Clover (online + in-store), negotiated the Bread integration, and owned P&L inputs — merchant fees, revenue share, activation metrics. Championed a single unified BNPL checkout regardless of distribution path.

BNPL Launch SMB Ecosystem P&L Ownership ISO / ISV Distribution
Context
Visa had never shipped an installments product. BNPL startups were gaining share at checkout and issuers were asking Visa for a card-linked response. I was the founding PM — no codebase, no partners, no spec.
Problem
Build a product that (a) respected the card network's role, (b) worked across multiple acquirers and technology enablers, (c) could land in face-to-face retail where BNPL-native players were still weak, and (d) proved consumer demand quickly enough to unlock more investment.
Approach
Drove Visa Installments from ideation to launch across US, UK, and Canada. Chose the $400B healthcare vertical as the US beachhead — high-ticket, high-pain, underserved by existing BNPL. Partnered with Data Science on POS lending analysis and Innovation/Design on Human-Centered Design — the exact data-driven + usability motion that makes BNPL work at checkout.
